GENERAL PROPERTIES

  • Effect of Acids and Alkalis
    • Good resistance to most mineral acids
    • Dissolves with partial decomposition by concentrated solutions of sulfuric acid.
    • Good resistance to weak alkalis and moderate resistance to strong alkalis at room temperature Disintegrates by strong alkalis at boll.
    • Excellent resistance to bleaches and other oxidizing agents.
  • Resistance to Mildew, Aging, Sunlight, Abrasion
    • Excellent resistance to mildew, aging and abrasion. Prolonged exposure to sunlight causes some strength loss.
  • Dispersion
    • Easily dispersed in aqueous and non-aqueous systems. Surface treatment to aid dispersion applied as required.
